Capers Bull has recently become our new Music Director. Capers grew up and still resides in Cameron, S.C. As a little boy, he heard the pipe organ and knew right away that God would prepare him to serve as an organist later in his life. Capers earned his Bachelors and Masters in librarianship from the University of South Carolina. Capers retired as Head of the Information/Reference Department of the Orangeburg County Library in 2012. Capers married the former Christy Warren of West Columbia, who lost her battle with cancer in 2015. He has assisted with music for the Calhoun County Part-Time Players in their productions of several productions including “Grease” and currently “Annie.” He is a railroad enthusiast. He believes God brought him back to Orangeburg to serve at our local church where he first visited as a youth in high school. We are very happy to have Capers Bull as our Music Director and Organist/Pianist.
